Walking Eagle

The Walking Eagle is a singularly distinctive award we present to those who truly stand out against the background noise of the space community. The award can be presented to anyone – from the corridors of NASA to the fabrication buildings in Mojave – although we do believe that alt.space companies possess a level of gravitas that particularly suits them to be recipients of the Walking Eagle.

They are not given lightly, but after much deliberation between the Cynics.

If you know of an individual or organization particularly deserving of an Eagle, please let us know.

Note that the first Eagle was given in 2007 to Ed Wright. To date, two Walking Eagle awards have been given to deserving recipients.

Hi,

Does SpaceCowboy deserve one?

Sincerely Yours,
SpaceCowboy

while i like the walking eagle awards, i think it behooves
the awards committee to write up the reasons for the award.

I don’t appreciate you using the symbol of our country. On top of that, I feel it’s demeaning to me as my last name is Walking Eagle and I don’t care to hear the BS from ignorant people who are constantly making jokes about Native American names! So Space Cynic give yourself the award and pull this BS off the internet! PLEASEEEE?!

I don’t get it.
