And this is the same country that’s going to send humans to Mars..?

Heard about “Operation Jade Helm”?

Read this great blog post then come back here.

Let’s say this really was a thing.

Sure, just for the sake of argument, let’s say Obama really is planning on herding Texans into FEMA death camps disguised as Wal-Marts.

Why would he need the army?

Think about it. Why would you need some secret plot to get Texans into a Wal-Mart?

Announce a Veterans Day sale with 50% off all ammunition, Duck Dynasty camouflage, and frozen chicken nuggets, unlock the doors, and step the hell out of the way before you get trampled.

Honestly, where does the Army come in?

You can’t make this shit up.

Ted Cruz and his ilk are the buffoons – i won’t sully the word “leader” by associating it with people like this – who have been elected to Congress (and the Governorship of Texas, in the case of Greg Abbott).

The Congress that is supposed to somehow muster the vision and leadership to restart manned exploration of space?

  1. Jim NotRight’s extremely prejudiced & bigoted rant at “Jade Helm: The Insanity that Ate Texas” is quite typical of the ignorant, backward “Big Government is just here to Help You” religious cultist.

    A few excerpts:
“This right here, this drooling lunacy, this mental illness, is the state of America. This is what talk radio and reality TV and Budweiser fueled NASCAR has done to the gene pool”

“just so utterly fucking stupid even for the twitching under-medicated paranoia that passes for Republicans nowadays”

Especially precious is: “Stop acting like a mental defective and grow the hell up”

The delicious irony obviously lost on the irrationally angry, mentally deficient & clearly unstable Jim NotRight

After the staged events leading to the US Gov. declaration of Martial Law the Natural Born Slave will be among the first lining up at the FEMA camp gate demanding to be let in for his “safety”.

Thank God Darwinian evolution quickly cleans out of our gene pool his type during Martial Law.

  2. As far as going to Mars I wonder if any of the 3 countries that send humans into space are willing to even send humans beyond earth orbit..ever.

Why? maybe it’s because of the fear that the sun will emit a radiation blast killing their human explorers. I think during the 3 1/2 years of Apollo the U.S. was willing to take the risk for the sake of ruling the skies and pouncing the Soviets by proving their technological superiority. I think the Apollo explorers barely missed that deadly blast of solar radiation by just a few months.

As it stands, I can’t see any country sending their astronauts/cosmonauts/taikonauts by 2050. There’s no urgent political need, it’s incredibly expensive, and the radiation blast always looms in the back of everyone’s minds.

At least we got Texas, it’s very close to being Mars already if you ask me.
