While still finishing my first cup of coffee, this headline came across my desk today:
New Zealand Space Program Could Surpass U.S., Electron Rocket Begins Testing On Monday
My first thought was, “Awesome! Middle Earth is getting ROCKETS!”
Sadly, what could have otherwise been a good article was mired by this little bit of, um, fake news:
“Additionally, unlike other designs, Rocket Lab created the rocket to be disposable.”
Just as a refresher: almost all of these are/were designed to be disposable:
